A doula is a trained, non-medical support person who provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the transition into parenthood.
A doula does not replace your medical care team, but works alongside you to help you feel informed, supported, and confident in your choices.
Doulas offer reassurance, comfort measures, education, and advocacy while helping families navigate the many physical, emotional, and personal transitions surrounding the arrival of a child. This support may include preparing for birth, understanding options, creating a sense of calm during labor, adjusting to life with a newborn, and providing steady guidance during the tender early postpartum period.
At its heart, doula care honors the profound transformation of welcoming a child and growing a family. It is about ensuring you feel seen, heard, and supported during one of life's most meaningful transitions.
Prenatal yoga is a specialized yoga practice designed to support mothers throughout pregnancy through gentle, adaptive movement, mindful breathing, and relaxation practices that honor the body’s changing needs.
It can help ease common pregnancy discomforts, support strength and mobility, prepare the body for birth, and nurture emotional well-being during this transformative season. P Prenatal yoga also offers a space to connect more deeply with the body, strengthen awareness, and prepare for the journey of welcoming a child.
Each practice is adapted to meet mothers where they are, honoring the unique experience of every pregnancy.
Gentle yoga is an accessible practice that emphasizes mindful movement, breath awareness, relaxation, and connection with the body. Through supportive postures and intentional pacing, gentle yoga offers space to release tension, improve mobility, and develop a deeper awareness of what your body needs.
This practice is designed for those seeking a slower, more nurturing approach to yoga—whether you are new to yoga, returning to movement, navigating life changes, or simply wanting a practice that honors your body in the present moment.
Children’s yoga introduces mindfulness, movement, breath, and self-awareness in a way that is engaging, creative, and age-appropriate. Through playful practices, children are encouraged to explore balance, coordination, confidence, emotional awareness, and connection with themselves and others.
Children’s yoga is not about perfect poses or performance. It creates a supportive space where children can move, express themselves, and develop tools that encourage presence, self-regulation, and well-being.
Thai Yoga Bodywork is a traditional, movement-based practice often referred to as the “Lazy Man’s Yoga.” Rooted in the Thai healing tradition, it combines assisted stretching, joint mobilization, postural awareness, rhythmic movement, mindful pressure, and breath awareness to support mobility, relaxation, and overall well-being.
Unlike passive bodywork where the recipient remains still, Thai Yoga Bodywork is an interactive practice. Clients actively participate through breath, awareness, and movement as the practitioner guides the body through supportive techniques designed to encourage ease, balance, and connection.
Thai Yoga Bodywork honors the relationship between breath and body, creating an opportunity to develop greater awareness, release tension, and reconnect with the body’s natural rhythms. Sessions are performed fully clothed and may be offered on a yoga mat or treatment table, depending on the session and individual needs.
Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing practice that focuses on supporting relaxation, balance, and a deeper sense of connection. Rooted in the concept of universal life force energy, Reiki is practiced through gentle touch or intention, creating space for awareness, restoration, and a renewed sense of balance.
During sessions, gentle touch may be incorporated as part of grounding and connection, always with your permission and comfort as the priority. Reiki may also be practiced without touch through intention and energy awareness.
Sessions are noninvasive and deeply calming for many people. Reiki may support relaxation, stress reduction, emotional well-being, and a greater sense of balance within the body and mind.
Common services include, but are not limited to:
Yes. Family CPR, First Aid, and AED training is available as a standalone offering or as an additional resource for expecting parents, caregivers, and families.
This session provides essential life-saving skills, including infant and child CPR, choking response, first aid, and AED training. The focus is on helping families build practical knowledge, confidence, and preparedness to respond during emergencies at home and beyond.
Led by an American Red Cross Certified Instructor, this family-focused training supports parents and caregivers in feeling more prepared to respond when it matters most. This offering is designed as an educational experience and does not include CPR certification.
Doula Services: Payment plans are available.
Can doula services be reimbursed?
Some families may have access to reimbursement options for doula services through their insurance plan, employer benefits, health savings programs, or other family support benefits. Coverage and eligibility vary widely, so we recommend checking directly with your plan administrator or benefits provider to understand what may be available to you.
Upon request, we can provide appropriate documentation for eligible services when applicable; however, reimbursement approval is determined by your individual plan and is not guaranteed.
Can I add doula care to my baby registry?
Absolutely. Many families choose to include prenatal, birth, and postpartum doula support on their baby registry, especially if they're looking for meaningful ways to receive support during this season of life. Friends and family are often delighted to contribute to something that supports you through pregnancy, birth, and those tender early postpartum weeks.
Doula care offers more than support during labor. It provides steady guidance, encouragement, and compassionate presence throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum—helping you feel supported as you navigate one of life's most meaningful transitions.
